 Robyn is the owner and operator of Loving Lathers. Starting Loving Lathers Dog Grooming & Boarding is a dream come true. My heartfelt passion is to work with dogs and give them the best quality care possible. I have loved animals all of my life, with dogs being at the top of the list. When I was younger I worked at a dog grooming shop. I loved being around the dogs and enjoyed working with my hands. Taking a dog that needs a little cleaning and grooming and making them look their very best is extremely satisfying for me. Most of my adult life I have been rescuing dogs in need. It started when I was 18 years old and picked up a stray dog while driving home. After giving her a bath and the vet care she needed, I found her a good home. I have been helping dogs ever since. In the past I have worked with local shelters, but recently the dogs I have rescued were either found by friends, co-workers or my vet. I still can not drive by a dog in need without stopping. I currently have 8 dogs, 7 of which are rescues. A few are special need dogs and could not be easily adopted out, so they have become permanent family members. With that passion and love for dogs, I decided to start Loving Lathers. The daylight basement was finished off with designated areas for grooming, boarding and free play. I purchased professional grooming equipment, extra large kennels, as well as toys. Loving Lathers is truly my own labor of love!
